International Olympic Committee

Today is the first day of the 2008 Summer Olympics hosted in Beijing. My family can't stand the Olympics, but I enjoy them a lot. I like to see countries of the world come together for sports.
So today's links are to the the International Olympic Committee and also The Offical Website for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games!

The International Olympic Committee website features everything about the Olympics including information about the games, sports, athletes, and past Olympic events.

The official website for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games includes all of the information on the International Olympic Committee's website, but more directed on the ongoing events. It also includes lists and times of all the events.

回头见! (See you soon!)

Improv Everywhere

Here's a question for you. What would you do if you were just sitting in the food court of a mall, minding your own business, when someone bursts out in song? Or how about, what would you do if you were in a train station, and suddenly a whole bunch of people froze in place at the same time?

Well, you would probably act like any of the people who witness Improv Everywere's crazy antics! You've got to check this out. It's some of the best things I have ever found on the web.

Here's a favorite of mine: Food Court Musical

It's E3 Time!

E3 runs from July 14 - 17. I don't know about you, but I'm exited. It looks like there are going to be some awesome titles announced this year.

Some of the bigger titles this year include:

You can see the full list of confirmed games at IGN.

Another cool thing coming out is the Wii MotionPlus, an add-on for the Wiimote that will ensure more precise control in motion-sensor based games.

Just to let you know, the Microsoft Press Confrence is over (took place July 14 at 10:30 AM PDT), the Nintendo Press Confrence is tomorrow July 15, at 9:00 AM PDT, and the Sony Press Confrence is tomorrow July 15, at 11:30 AM PDT. We should have some more news then.

I guess this is a deviation from what I normally post, but I couldn't help myself.

EnBW Spamrecycler

Spam. What is it good for? Art!

EnBW Spamrecycler is a flash based website that recycles your spam into artwork.

You simply send your spam e-mail to spam@spamrecycling.com and an automated e-mail will be sent back to you that has a link to where you can create a piece of art from your spam. When you are finished, you can hit a button and the website will e-mail you a desktop background of your art.

This is something you'll have to see to believe!

Craft Stylish - How to Weave on a Cardboard Loom

This is more for the ladies and the crafy men.

Look at the picture on the right. Would you believe that it was made from a cardboard loom? Well, it was. Weaving is actually pretty easy, and it's very relaxing. I've done it before, and if I can do it, you can do it.

Check out Craft Stylish's Article for complete instructions.
