It's E3 Time!

E3 runs from July 14 - 17. I don't know about you, but I'm exited. It looks like there are going to be some awesome titles announced this year.

Some of the bigger titles this year include:

You can see the full list of confirmed games at IGN.

Another cool thing coming out is the Wii MotionPlus, an add-on for the Wiimote that will ensure more precise control in motion-sensor based games.

Just to let you know, the Microsoft Press Confrence is over (took place July 14 at 10:30 AM PDT), the Nintendo Press Confrence is tomorrow July 15, at 9:00 AM PDT, and the Sony Press Confrence is tomorrow July 15, at 11:30 AM PDT. We should have some more news then.

I guess this is a deviation from what I normally post, but I couldn't help myself.

75 Insane High Res Photoshop Brushes

I'm obsessive about customizing everything, as I've mentioned in a few other of my postings. This includes Photoshop brushes.

Elite, a web design and blogging blog presents 75 Insane High Res Photoshop Brushes. This is a wonderful list of some fabulous brushes of all different types. This is a must see.

PhotoshopDisasters

I really need to get on the ball with posts. I know, I know.

Picture this: You're looking at a Sears ad with a lady in it. It's all good until you look at her left hand. Where the hell did that come from?!

PhotoShop is not child's play, but it seems like some people who are hired to edit photos are children.

Thankfully, the good people at PhotoshopDisasters have gathered up these Photoshop bloopers and made a blog about them where the general public can point and laugh.

Firefox 3 Launch Day is TODAY

Download Day

Today is download day! Time for a new Firefox!

The servers are busy because of all the people downloading, so you will most likely have to make a few attempts to download. I managed to get my download after three attempts.

Some of your add-ons might not make it over, but they will most likely updated in the near future.

My bookmarks made it over safe and sound, so there will be new posts soon!

FSTDT Top 100

I’m Catholic and I go to a Catholic school, but I am embarrassed by the Christian fundies. They really worry me. If you want to see some worrisome (and really funny) fundie quotes, head on over to FSTDT Top 100. Sometimes they are funny (“I can sum it all up in three words: Evolution is a lie”) and sometimes they make you lose a little of your faith in humanity (“[Talking about an eleven year old girl who was raped and then buried alive] god was sacrificing this child as a way to show others the light. much as he did his own child. what a beautiful gift he has given us.”) If you’re not of the Christian faith, then you can point and laugh. If you are, you can either shake your head, or point and laugh. It’s your choice

100 Photoshop Tutorials and PSDTuts

I'll try to keep the posts coming! I'm sorry for the time gap!

Photoshop. It’s a wonderful program, but a pain in the ass to use. Thankfully there are many resources to help one adapt to the… uniqueness… of Photoshop. Now, if you have never used a professional photo editing program before, I wouldn’t attempt these tutorials because they do show some advanced methods for doing some things. Our first site is 100 Photoshop Tutorials. Some of them show step-by-step, and others are just an overview. Another useful site is PSDTuts. This site has broken the tutorials into different sections such as drawing, photo effects, and text effects to make finding what you want easier. Many of these are for the more advanced user, so get familiar with the basics before moving on to these.
